I'm back! xx

Hello everyone!
I can't tell you how good it feels to be back, the last post I made was for New Years. Time has flown by so quickly I can't even believe it! I have no excuse for not posting in almost 3 months, I guess I just lost motivation and kind of fell into a pit of self-pity. All around me I've been seeing bloggers my age just blossom and become incredibly successful, which just made me feel bad. Writing this down now, it sounds rather stupid, but as a teenage girl, as much as I hate to admit it (and do it) I am constantly comparing myself to others and I just found myself becoming really depressed and sad, so I decided to take a break. But just recently I've re-discovered that this blog wasn't for anyone other than myself so whatever anyone else says/does is irrelevant to me and my blog. I can make this whatever I want it to be, and I want it to be a reflection of me.

So... while I was gone, I hit 2000 views! It may not seem like much of an achievement but to me it is AMAZING, I can't believe 2000 people have seen my blog, it blows my mind! Thank you, yes YOU!

Okay, now I'll talk about the outfit... Let's just take a moment for this skirt. These pictures definitely don't give it justice. It is my newest purchase (definitely a splurge) and what pushed me to make this post. It is such a classic yet modern and trendy style that goes with everything.
In this outfit I have tried to use a whole range of textures and patterns, but they all tie together perfectly. The Chanel inspired coat  just pulls the outfit together, it had gorgeous delicate gold threading through it, every minute detail just adds to it.The fluffyness of the jacket, the sheerness of my top, the snake print on my shoes and the scuba/wetsuit material of my skirt somehow all compliments each other in some crazy way.
I also love these shoes, I have had them for years but have always thought they were too mature and old for me, but now I am in love! The snake print and pointed toe makes them so classy and different to anything else I own and see.

Well, I don't know how long it will be until my next post, hopefully not too long. I hope you liked it :)

Until next time,
Gigi

NYE Outfit

| Dress: Forever New | Shoes: Big W | Lisptick: Sportsgirl - Catwalk Queen |

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
2013 is gone... bring on 2014! I can't believe the year is over already, 2013 was an amazing year for me, I feel like I have truly become myself and become a much happier person, much thanks to the people around me. I could not be more thankful for everything I have and I realise how truly lucky I am.

This is the outfit I wore to the New Years party I attended, well for half the night before everyone just jumped in the pool until about 1:30am haha. I am in love with this dress, I bought it at the boxing day sales for less that half price! The detailing is like no other and it is so well made. It is so timeless and I can tell that it is going to be a staple in my wardrobe for the years to come! I also love the lipstick I am wearing (which you can't really see) it is so bright and bold and just GORGEOUS!

So this year I am in year 10... how crazy, I remember when I was in the younger grades I used to look up at the the older grades including year 10 and think they were so old, but still I just feel like that little girl who is ready for her first day of primary school.

I am so excited to see what 2014 brings me and I am going to make sure that this is MY year!

Until next time,
- Gigi xx

101 Dalmatians

| Top: AnnaPurna | Skirt: Fairground | Shoes: Genny |
| Necklace: Lovisa |
Hey guys, today's outfit is one of my all time favorites. Spots are my go-to pattern and I swear I have some kind of gravitational pull towards anything spotty whenever I am shopping. To dress up the outfit I have added some cute heeled sandals and a beaded choker-like necklace. I've seen that chokers are coming back into fashion but I'm not really that into it, But I think this necklace is the perfect option. One of my favorite things to do fashion-wise is to have a completely black and white outfit, but then add a contrasting burst of colour like I have done with my lips and watch.

Thanks,
- Gigi xx

Red Riding Hood

| Top: Mika & Gala | Skirt: 11-ONE-11 | Shoes: Nordic Fusion |
| Coat: Blugirl Blumarine | Bag: French Connection |

Hey guys, so two days ago was my birthday and I went to Brisbane to go shopping with my mum (mostly so that I could check out the new TopShop.) I took the train down which took FOREVER but I knew that the air-conditioning would be on below freezing so I brought a coat even though it was stinking hot. I'd like to take a minute to say how incredible the 3 story work of art is. For ages now I have been constantly stalking the TopShop website and had crowned it my favorite store before I had even bought anything haha, so being inside the shop was like a dream. (If you would like me to do an OOTD featuring my TopShop purchases let me know.) Anyway, after I was all shopped out, we went back to my Auntie's house whom owns a race yacht and went for a cruise to look at the fairy lights around the canals, which is a bit of a tradition that we do every year.
So I think I can safely say that I had a great birthday and that I am now officially 15... which is crazy!

Until next time,
- Gigi xx

P.s. Someone pointed out to me that I kind of look like 'Red Coat' from Pretty Little Liars... what do you think?

Little Angel

Dress: Guess | Sunnies: Unknown | Shoes: Bally

Hey everyone, a few days ago my grandparents (whom I haven't seen is years and are very conservative) flew up from Sydney. We went out for lunch and I wanted to make sure I still looked the the innocent little girl, yet I wanted to show that I had grown up.
This is probably my all time favorite dress, for some reason it doesn't get that much wear, but I think that makes it all the more special when I do wear it. The detailing is so intricate and beautiful, I love the lace-up effect down the front and the little ruffle and the bottom. Little do you know, it actually has ribbing like a corset around the chest so the way is is structured is also phenomenal!
I have my hair in a messy low bun to show off the gorgeous pin-up style neckline and the add to the very 'beachy' style of the look.

See you soon!
